Access to the Migale bioinformatics facility will be unavailable from Monday, September​ 21st to Thursday, September 24th 2026.

Users affected by the incident

- All users of the Migale bioinformatics faclity (Migale, Cluster,...).
- Web access to the tools (Blast, Databases, Galaxy, ProteoRE, Omnicrobe,Rstudio, Siduri….).

Cause
This interruption, which is beyond our control, is caused by the annual maintenance operations of the INRAE Data Center, which hosts the infrastructure of the MIGALE platform. 
« As it does every year, the CEA, our partner for the INRAE Ile de France Data Center, will carry out technical inspections and annual regulatory tests on the technical installations from Monday, September 21, until Wednesday, September 23d, at 11 p.m., with the aim of maintaining the quality of the service provided to us. The INRAE IT department has asked us to shut down our infrastructure electrically before Monday, September 21 at noon. Power will be gradually restored to our servers starting on Thursday at 2:30 p.m.The INRAE IT department asks us to have stopped our servers electrically from Monday 21st at noon. The electrical power will be restored for our servers from thursday at the beginning of the afternoon. »


We will take advantage of this shutdown to perform firmware and hardware updates.
All access to the platform (computing, storage, websites) will be shut down on Monday, September 25 at 11.30 a.m. All calculations on the cluster must be stopped by this date or they will be terminated.

We will restore progressively all services on Thursday afternoon.
